Service Description

Our Starting Solid sessions are here to help you with all things weaning! Our sessions are tailored to your needs and can help with: 1. Preparing for starting solids and weaning. We will meet over a cup of tea (virtually of course) and discuss everything you need to know about weaning. Some questions you might have are: What do you need? What should you give your baby? Spoon-led weaning / baby-led weaning? What does gagging vs choking look like? 2. You have started weaning but things aren't going so well. Your baby may be struggling with weaning or stuck on puree foods. You may just want some reassurance about what is normal! We will watch your little one eat, discuss why your little one might be having difficulties and give some strategies to help. Sessions are 60 minutes in length. For babies under one year only. This is an online appointment. We can provide home visits within 40 minutes of GU21 in the United Kingdom. If you are unsure whether we will visit you, please contact us before booking as we may be able to accommodate your location for additional travel charges. Online appointments are offered worldwide.  If there are no available slots that work for you, please contact us as we may be able to find another slot that will, including evenings and weekends.
