Breastfeeding support and lactation consultation

Breastfeeding Support & Lactation Consultant

Feeding shouldn't hurt, and you shouldn't have to figure it out alone. As an IBCLC I help with latch, positioning, painful feeding, low supply and the wobbly early weeks — but also anything along the whole feeding journey, whether you're breastfeeding, combi-feeding or bottle feeding.

Savannah Senior, paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and IBCLC at Learn to Feed

About Us

Welcome to Learn to Feed — specialist paediatric feeding support in Surrey (UK) and online, worldwide.

I'm Savannah, a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in paediatric feeding and swallowing, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I work with families navigating everything from breastfeeding difficulties and bottle feeding to weaning challenges, sensory-based feeding aversions, fussy eating, and complex paediatric dysphagia.

I'm also a mum — which means I understand this from both sides of the table.

Alongside my own clinical work, I lead a team of specialist therapists offering speech and language therapy for children's communication through our Learn to Chat service, in Woking and Surrey.

Whether you're a parent looking for support, or a case manager seeking a specialist for your client, you're in the right place.

What Our Clients Say

Real words from the families I've had the joy of supporting.

Savannah came and did a home visit to assess my little boy's oral development and weaning. She was welcoming, kind, understanding and encouraging — clearly very knowledgeable, and she shared it in a non-judgemental, thoughtful way. She gave us lots of ideas to support my son's feeding and followed up with an extensive report. I'm so pleased we reached out.

Weaning & Feeding
Savannah is approachable, knowledgable and patient. She gave us so much helpful information and really improved our confidence in being able to breast feed successfully! What a great session to kick start our journey and prepare as new parents. The information provided is helpful for all experience levels and Savannah was easily able to answer all our questions, which was very reassuring.

Antenatal & Breastfeeding Support
Our experience with Learn to Feed and Savannah was extremely helpful. Savannah was a knowledgeable and friendly presence throughout the consultation, which started with a thorough discussion around my partner's breastfeeding goals and concerns. We then moved into a hands-on session with useful tips and adjustments for an optimal breastfeeding position. Savannah has a very calm and reassuring demeanour, which we found crucial. We would definitely recommend Learn to Feed for any lactation consultation!
