Before your appointment, I'll send over a short form to gather your case history — this saves time so we can spend our appointment together focused on you and your baby.

Appointments last between 60–90 minutes (we're on baby time!) and include a full feeding assessment, practical hands-on support, and written recommendations tailored to you. Follow-up appointments are available as needed.

Home visits are available within roughly 40 minutes of Woking (GU21), across Surrey, UK. Online consultations are available worldwide.

Do you offer breastfeeding home visits?
Yes. Home visits are available within roughly 40 minutes of Woking (GU21), across Surrey, UK. Online consultations are available worldwide.
What happens in a consultation?
Appointments last between 60–90 minutes. I'll observe a feed, try out practical tips and positions with you, and talk through your questions — then follow up with a written summary and tailored recommendations. Follow-ups are available as needed.
Can you help with tongue tie?
As an IBCLC I can carry out an oral motor assessment and help determine whether a tongue tie might be contributing to your feeding difficulties. I'm not a tongue tie practitioner myself, so if I suspect a tongue tie is playing a role, I'll refer you on to someone qualified to assess and treat it.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed — you can get in touch directly to book.
How much does it cost?
An in-person initial consultation is £150 (£110 online); follow-ups are £100 in person (£70 online).
I just have a quick question — do I need to book a full appointment?
Not necessarily! Get in touch and we can arrange a short phone consultation to talk it through.
What qualifications do you have?
I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) — the gold-standard lactation qualification, requiring extensive clinical hours, exams and ongoing recertification. This is different from a breastfeeding counsellor, breastfeeding champion, or peer supporter, which are valuable breastfeeding support roles but don't carry the same clinical training or scope. Peer supporters and counsellors are a wonderful first port of call for general breastfeeding guidance and support with the day-to-day ups and downs. It's worth seeing an IBCLC when things need a clinical eye — think ongoing pain, slow weight gain, suspected tongue tie, persistent low or oversupply, or anything that isn't resolving with general support. I'm also a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist specialising in feeding and swallowing, which means I bring both lactation expertise and a whole-feeding-system view to every consultation.
